Dr. Rippe believes that there is a profound mind and body connection. She likes to help you find the root cause of the problem to learn to embody a state of balance. If health related issues are impacting your life or creating distress on your overall well-being, Dr. Rippe will work in collaboration with you to help move you towards reaching your full potential. Dr. Rippe utilizes both coaching techniques and evidenced-based practices, such as Mindfulness-based Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy to explore concerns related to health issues that include, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, loss, and adjustments associated with chronic pain and illness.

As a Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Rippe is a graduate of Medaille College. Her focus is in the area of health psychology. She completed pre-doctoral training at Roswell Park Cancer Institute working with patients and their family members on psychosocial concerns related to cancer. Dr. Rippe completed her internship at Erie County Medical Center in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine working with adult patients coping with medical injuries and disabilities. Dr. Rippe completed her post-doctoral fellowship in The Center of Oncology at ECMC where she dedicated a portion of her time developing the Department of Psychosocial Oncology. She continues to serve as the primary psychologist and works with a multidisciplinary team to provide oncology care. Dr. Rippe specializes in adult mental health and provides evidence-based treatments. Dr. Rippe also mentors and supervises psychology doctoral students at ECMC.
